For the times when
fishing isn't an option or for those who want to do other things,
the area has a huge range of activities on offer.
Walking
Some
of Scotland's best scenery is right on your doorstep - lochs,
pine forests and rivers plus wide sandy beaches on the Moray
coast at Nairn and Findhorn. Walks leaflets are available from
local Tourist Information Centres in Grantown and Aviemore.
There's an excellent choice of walks to suit all abilities,
from leisurely to more challenging.

to enjoy the scenery to more advanced mountain bike tracks
which will thrill even the most proficient rider. Bikes available
for hire locally.
Wildlife Watching

Park is home to an abundance of birds and wildlife. For rarer
species, the Ospreys at RSPB
Loch Garten are only a short drive away and why not visit
Speyside
Wildlife's exclusive hide one evening and see Pine Martens
and Badgers.
Water Sports
Sailing, canoeing, wind surfing - all available
on two nearby lochs where equipment can be hired and tuition
is available - Loch
Insh and Loch
Morlich.
