| The Cairngorms
National Park is the biggest in Britain, stretches from Dalwhinnie
to the Angus Glens and covers an area of 1,447 sq miles. It
is home to 16,000 people and 25% of Britain’s threatened
species so is a haven for wildlife and bird watchers.
It has some of Scotland's most spectacular scenery including
wild mountainous areas, moorlands, forests, rivers, lochs
and glens. Consequently there are lots of interesting places
to walk, do outdoor activities and visit.
